| The 3-Dog Bark Park Group is a committee formed by Brandi and Jeffrey Kanselaar. After visiting the Raccoon River Park in West Des Moines, and seeing the benefits it brought to the city, the Kanselaar's decided to create a group to bring a dog park to Redfield. Jeffrey and Brandi own three dogs. A 7 year old Doberman Pinscher named Laeda Lu, and two 3 year old "twin" beagle/rat terrier mixes named Bandito and Sadie Sue. These "kids" are the inspiration behind the 3-Dog Bark Park Group. 1. Raise funds for dog park amenities and ongoing maintenance. 2. Arrange special events and support pet awareness workshops. 3. Monitor use of park - checking passes/making sure posted rules are followed, etc. 4. Clean up and maintenance of park on a weekly basis and repairing any amenities in poor shape. 5. Serve as a communication liaison between city, neighborhood and dog owners. We could use your help!
